Rotary Balgowlah Charity Golf Day and Dinner.

This is our main fund raiser each year and has been running annually since 1990. We currently hold the event at Wakehurst Golf Club. Social and serious golfers compete in an Ambrose Competition with a little help from a putting competition. The score can be improved by buying mulligans and a string to better position the ball on the hole where nearest the line wins from the drive. Golfers and visitors have an opportunity to bid early on the Silent and Live Auction items. During the dinner we have a live auction and guests rush to bid on the many silent auction items.

Quiz Night

A fun filled night for all ages. Each group is challenged by six to eight quizzes including general knowledge, music, who is that, to name a few. The team winner is the one with best score after all quizzes.

There is a Bingo challenge and toss a coin at a bottle of spirits the closest winning the bottle and raffles all helping to raise funds for the charities, communities and youth we support.

What to do during a pandemic to raise money?

Have a road rally of course, fun and Covid-19 safe.

Our team organised a road rally around the Northern Beaches, fun for all the family with clues for all ages.

Educational too, as there are so many interesting places to discover.

We were successful despite the weather and enjoyed by all participants, so much so that we are making it an annual event.

Rock Orchestra

We have established a partnership with the 3rd Age Rock Orchestra to hold an annual concert.

The talented musicians donate their time to support our worthy causes.

We are always looking for new ideas to raise funds.
