Lara Heesom from Mackellar Girls Campus gave a wonderful talk about her experience at the NYSF in Canberra in January.
Kerry Gwynne spoke about Dalwood/Spilstead Early Childhood Intervention Centre.
In 1928 Dalwood donated the property to the fund placing it in trust to be utilised only for children’s services.
Members Sue Terry and Michael Mead gave an account of their trip to Antarctica that was cut short by the Covid-19 virus and the traumas they faced before returning home
Meet member Robert Exner
On August 4, our club speaker was newer member Robert Exner who gave a very interesting and enlightening talk on his career, life in Dubbo and his involvement in Rotary
Meet member Dr Di Hart OAM
On Tuesday September 1, our club speaker was member PP Diana Hart who gave a interesting and inspiring speech entitled A Fortunate Life. Diane outlined her life which encompassed not only an amazing and busy Medical career but also both leading or being substantially involved with major Rotary Health projects.
Lindy Myers takes over the President's job for 2020-21 from John O'Brien.
John has managed the club very well through a difficult year and Lindy takes on the role after being Secretary and Youth Officer during her 5 years of membership.
Congratulations to Roger Gray for a Rotary Sapphire PHF award for continuous support over the years and his hard work in re-organising how the club will be run to include all members. Roger is a positive mentor for the club members.
Congratulation to Rick Van Brugge for being awarded the President's Award. Rick has been a valuable member of the club taking on the role of Secretary and coordinating with other clubs in the Northern Beaches Cluster
