5,000 runners in this years' NB Sun Run.
Balgowlah Rotary members were proud to be part of the event as marshalls.

Balgowlah Rotary Club members visited Dalwood Spilstead for one meeting in November. We toured the site and heard the inspiring information from Service Manager Kerry Gwynne. Dalwood Spilstead provides a wonderful and successful "Early Intervention and Support Service" for needy children under 9 and their families.
Balgowlah Rotary Club sponsored 4 students from Mackellar Girls Campus and 3 from Balgowlah Boys Campus to attend the 3 day Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment Camp in the Blue Mountains aimed at building confidence, team building and personal values. The students joined our meeting to tell us of their experiences. They had a wonderful time and enthralled us with their experiences.
Quiz master David Stewart challenged us with 9 different quiz topics with table 11 just outscoring table 10.
There were prizes for the Reverse Bingo and tossing a coin at a bottle of scotch, plus for the raffle.
The silent auction items were in demand.
A special night to summarise the year that has been, to thank the outgoing President and committees for work well done and welcome the incoming presidents and committees for 2023-24.
Special guests included AG John Campbell and representatives from some of the groups we support.
Balgowlah Rotary Club is very proud to recognise and present an award to 13 very special people in our community for the work they do in one of the categories
Balgowlah Rotary's third attempt at having our 32nd Charity Golf Day at Wakehurst Golf Club on 17th February was a great success, especially for the winners.
The silent auction, raffle and guessing competition added to the fun for the day.
Balgowlah Rotary Club team members braved an early morning to be marshals for the Northern Beaches Sun Run.
Balgowlah Rotary Club members deliver meals to people in need each Monday from the OneMeal location in Brookvale. to help our community.
Finally a time to celebrate the end of a busy year with a Christmas Dinner and to give gifts to the families supported at Dalwood Spilstead.
The last couple of months we have been supporting our community more.
A change of venue for our meeting on Tuesday 23rd August to NB Lifeline plus a tour and talk about the important work of NB Lifeline.
We enjoyed sharing pizza and discussion between the talks and our Rotary meeting.
